September 29, 2025

On Saturday, September 27 more than 175 associates from Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota were among the thousands gathered at Minnehaha Regional Park in Minneapolis for NAMI Walks Minnesota 2025 to raise awareness, break the stigma, and support healing.

Blue Cross President and CEO Dana Erickson championed behavioral health as she spoke to the crowd to kick off the event, “Every one of us has a personal story that makes us walk," Erickson said. "Whether you’ve struggled with mental health, substance use disorder, or another behavioral health condition or you know someone who has, I hope you feel seen because you are.”

Team Blue Cross surpassed its fundraising goal of $7500, raising more than $8800 for NAMI Minnesota. Below are scenes from this year's event.
